Vote Poster

2020

The Vote poster was designed in September 2020 after the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The poster was designed as a call-to-action on social media, emphasizing the importance of mail-in voting in the midst of a global pandemic. Although the loss of Ruth Bader Ginsburg felt discouraging to many, this poster was designed to empower and inspire Americans to register and vote during the 2020 election.

The design process began with a 3D model built in Rhino, where all the falling envelopes were strategically placed for a 2D export. The vectors were imported into Adobe Illustrator where the wide text was added. The half-tone textures were rendered in Adobe Photoshop to mimic Japanese risograph prints of the 1980s - 90s.
